So I have passed the 4 month mark. Not quite half way, but for some reason, four months seems much more respectable than “15 weeks”.
We finished the garage on Saturday which means I now have tons of shelves to fill up with baby stuff and childhood mementos. I am nesting something fierce. I am all about organizing our “stuff” and purging what we don’t need. My weeks of being vertical and somewhat active are numbered (actually… exactly 3 weeks 5 days). So I lie on the couch for a few hours, then spend a while running errands or cleaning out a room… then I go back on the couch.
My most recent joy of pregnancy: waking up every night about 1 am with heartburn so bad my chest feels like it is on fire. Tums is my new friend :-). According to the books on pregnancy with multiples, women with triplets start to develop heartburn between 19 and 24 weeks. *sigh*. Ever the overachiever :-).
So here is another belly picture…
16 WEEKS

I made Dave watch this documentary about birth on Friday, which may have been a mistake if I ever desire to be in a knocked-up state such as yourself. He's intimated more than a few times since that even the act that could lead to baby production has dramatically lessened in appeal, lest it lead to him having to view even one more birth after the twenty in the movie that bothered him so. He just keeps moaning in misery, "I can't believe I saw Ricki Lake give birth naked in a bathtub." :)
Hahaha. Good thing men aren't in charge of giving birth...
Catherine,
I just happened to stumble across your blog! I can't believe you are having triplets! That is so exciting. We are STILL doing Clomid. We got as far as fertilizing an egg last month, but it didn't stick. It was exciting and sad at the same time.
We all need to get together sometime. It has been way too long.
